Assistant Service Manager
Harley-Davidson of Scottsdale is growing, and we’re looking for an Assistant Service Manager to join our team. This role is key in creating a customer experience that keeps riders coming back and drives referrals to the dealership.
Responsibilities include:
• Assist in overseeing daily operations of the service department
• Help maximize technician productivity and efficiency
• Monitor quality of work and assist with challenging service jobs when needed
• Support warranty administration, repair orders, and parts coordination
• Maintain smooth workflow and communication between departments
• Lead, coach, and support service department staff
• Assist with scheduling, task delegation, training, and performance management
• Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism and ethical business practices
• Continue developing product knowledge and dealership service expertise
Qualifications:
• Experience in a motor vehicle dealership service department
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Sales experience in a commission-based retail environment preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Passion for customer service and team development
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Occasional lifting and balancing of heavy motorcycles
• Exposure to loud noise, chemicals, and outdoor conditions during events and dealership activities
